Wetterling Gallery is proud to present Liva Isakson Lundins second solo exhibition at the gallery, Hold Sway. The exhibition will include two large scale installations and drawings.
With a working process based on experiments around material and their different qualities Liva Isakson Lundin creates spatial, often site specific, installations. Her work emanates from two materials meeting and challenging each other. Rubber and glass, rope and strip steel. A meeting investigating tension, weight and balance. Even though the works are still they radiate strong movement.
Liva Isakson Lundin’s use of material, size and form gives the works a bodily character expressing both physical and psychological conditions.
Liva Isakson Lundin, born in 1990, lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. She received a MA degree from the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm in 2016. Isakson Lundin has been exhibited at Västerås Konstmuseum, Palladium Malmö, SAK Kungliga Konstakademin, Stockholm, Ahlbergshallen in Östersund and at the The Aguéli Museum, Sala among others.
