Fotografisk Center is an art hall and gallery with a focus on contemporary Nordic photography and other camera-based media. It was founded an association in 1996 by the City of Copenhagen. This summer they are putting up the duo exhibition Fortiden Foran Mig with Marie Sjøvold and Astrid Kruse Jensen. Both primarily use the photographic media in their artistic practice and use experiences and memories from their own lives as inspiration for their artworks. The idea of ​​the exhibition is that they should create new works in dialogue with each other's practices, and in that way perhaps push things in a slightly different direction, so that the sum of the collaboration becomes greater than the individual parts.
