LINDA BÄCKSTRÖM

A sculpture by the artist Linda Bäckström has been installed at S:t Görans Hospital in Stockholm. 

The sculpture is made out of aluminum, and the inspiration for the work comes from light reflecting objects, such as foiled ballons, chandeliers, disco balls and soap bubbles. The idea of displaying artworks in the hospital is to spread some beauty in an otherwise clinical environment and this sculpture will light up the courtyard by reflecting light from the sun.
