Liva Isakson Lundin
This Saturday an opening ceremony was held for the new centre for Athletics and Culture in Knivsta (Knivsta Centrum för Idrott och Kultur). The centre is filled with public artwork, one of the largest being beautiful metal work by Liva Isaksson Lundin.
The work is called Moves and in an interview with Knivsta Kommun regarding the project, Isakson Lundin describes her reasoning behind the work. She says: “I chose to focus on movement as a common denominator for athletics and culture, but also focus, motivation, play and singlemindedness is important in both cases.”
