Nathalia Edenmont, Not Amused, 2011

The exhibition Seasons exhibits a selection of female portraits by Nathalia Edenmont. Many of the women in the porttraits are dressed in creations made by thousands of real flowers or fruits. The works carry a clear reference to art history and the new works correspond with the museum's paiting The Four Seasons by Jan Breughel (senior) (1568 - 1625). The older work is an allegory that alludes the four elements and Edenmont's contemporary work represent four different women from four different seasons or elements.
