Peter Blake is one of Britain's best-loved artists. As a founder of British Pop Art in the 50's, he is widely known for creating collages filled with popular culture references. With a career spanning over seven decades, the collages has been an ever present technique. This book, Peter Blake Collages, is the fist comprehensive overview of his collage-making practice. It was published in conjuction to his exhibition at Waddington Custot earlier in 2021 and contains a foreword by David Hockney, an essay by Patrick Elliott, Chief Curator of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edignhurgh and an interview by Natalie Rudd, Senior Curator of the Art Council Collection as well as 250 colour reproductions and newly comipled illustrations in chronological order.
